How Takely uses platform data
Last updated October 29, 2026
Takely connects to social and ad platforms only when you ask it to, and only to do what you approve. This page lists exactly what each connection is for.
TikTok
Sign in: your basic profile and a user identifier, so you can log in to Takely with TikTok.
Posting: with your permission, Takely publishes the videos you approve and reads their statistics (views, likes, comments, shares) to show you results and compare versions.
TikTok ads
Connecting: you authorise your TikTok for Business advertiser accounts. Takely reads their identifiers and names so you can choose one.
Tests: when you start a paid test and confirm its budget, schedule and audience, Takely uploads the video versions as creatives and creates the campaign, ad group and ads. Nothing is spent without your confirmation, and you can pause or stop a test from Takely.
Reports: Takely reads impressions, views, watch time, clicks, cost and conversions for the ads it created, and shows them side by side for each version.
YouTube
With your permission, Takely uploads the videos you approve as Shorts, manages the videos it posted for you, and reads their analytics to show results and compare versions.
Takely uses YouTube API Services; the YouTube Terms of Service (www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) apply. Revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
X
Sign in with your X profile, and with your permission post the videos you approve and read their metrics.
What we never do
We don't access accounts or data you didn't authorise. We don't sell, rent or share platform data with third parties. We don't use it to build profiles of platform users or audiences for advertising. We don't post or spend anything without your confirmation.
Security and removal
Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES 256 GCM. Each user sees only their own connected accounts and reports. Disconnecting an account in Takely deletes its stored token, and you can also revoke access from the platform's own settings.
